In the nearest vicinity of D-Marin Dalmacija there is the town of Zadar. The 3.000 year old town is exceptionally rich in history and heritage. The ancient churches, monuments and squares in perfect fusion with elegant modern buildings and waterfront enriched by modern urban installations of Sea Organ and Greeting To The Sun give so much of unique atmosphere and make it a great place to enjoy.
The very symbol of Zadar is the Church of St. Donat. It is one of the most stunning buildings in all of Dalmatia, dates back to the 9th century and was supposedly built to replicate the style of early Byzantine architecture.
The natural environment near D-Marin Dalmacija by itself makes the area worth a visit. The area of extraordinary beauty with five national parks: Kornati, Paklenica (mountain), Northern Velebit (mountain), Krka Waterfalls and Plitvice Lakes and three parks of nature: Telašcica bay, Lake Vrana and Velebit Mountain gives you a pleasant feeling as if every day routine was left far behind.
The famous Kornati Archipelago with a labyrinth of 150 islands, islets and cliffs in the area of cca 220 sq km is one of the most spectacular sights in Croatia and is not to be missed.
