D-Marin awarded silver medal by Ecovadis and rated in top 30% of leisure industry for sustainability

D-Marin, a premium marina network, has received a silver medal rating by EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. The rating positions D-Marin in the top 30 percent of companies in the leisure industry.

The sustainability rating increased by 22 percentage points versus 2021, a substantial increase demonstrating clearly D-Marin’s commitment to employing sustainable practices across the business and its advancements in sustainability over the past year alone.

D-Marin was awarded the accolade following an assessment of its sustainability practices and commitments across 21 indicators in four themes: environment, labour and human rights, business ethics and sustainable procurement. D-Marin has a robust Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy in place with a mission to create ‘Sustainable Marinas for todays and future generations’, which encompasses the four areas in which it was assessed.

“We are extremely proud to secure a silver medal rating by EcoVadis. Aligning our focus to make our operations more sustainable is not only the right thing to do, but at the heart of our DNA as a business. Improving every day and caring about the environment and our communities are two of the key behaviours we would like to see in each and every employee at D-Marin. We are constantly working toward achieving a gold rating, and we endeavour to be the best in the industry for sustainability.” says Konrad Tyrajski, Chief Operations Officer of D-Marin.
