Canuto de la Utrera
The Canuto de la Utrera is a hiking route that you just can't miss. The site emerges from the depths of the ocean and is made up of a maze of karst landforms and inhabited by one of the most endangered species of Mediterranean. The Utrera mountain range is a highly valuable environment that is the exclusive habitat of animal life deemed priority by the European Community. For this reason, the Ecologists in Action Federation proposed its inclusion as a Place of Community Interest in the Red Natura 2000.

This house was owned by a brother of Blas Infantes, considered the father of Andalusian nationalism. It displays some of the archaeological remains from the Roman period found in Manilva.

CASTILLO LA DUQUESA
La Duquesa castle is located on La Duquesa beach, in the suburb known as El Castillo, in Manilva, in the province of Málaga. The fort was built in the 18th century and occupies the site of an ancient Roman villa. Part of the material used in its construction came from that villa. It dates back to the times of Carlos III and was built to defend the coastline against pirates. It is currently home to Manilva Archaeological Museum and is the ideal place for a journey through the town's history. The objects displayed at this museum come from the Roman archaeological site surrounding La Duquesa Castle. These objects date back to between the late 1st century and the 5th century AD.

If you'd like to relax surrounded by nature, don't miss Hedionda Roman Baths. These baths were part of an old Roman spa dating back to the 1st century AD that have been restored and equipped for free use by the public. Such is the significance of this architectonic space that it was declared a "Site of Cultural Interest".

A stroll along the River Guadiaro
If you're looking for adventure at the heart of nature, you can try rafting on the Guadiaro River. The Guadiaro River is in the southern Iberian Peninsula and runs through the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz. Its source is in the Ronda Depression, at the confluence of the rivers Guadalevín and Guadalcobacín, in a location known as La Indiana. It flows into the Mar de Alborán near the town of Sotogrande. At 79 km long, the Guadiaro River is one of the main rivers in the Mediterranean basin of Andalusia and is the third longest after the rivers Guadalhorce and Almanzora, and one of the largest in terms of flow.
