A Fantastic Day of Basketball at Port Camille Rayon

On Thursday, 8th of May, Port Camille Rayon will come alive with an exciting 3x3 basketball tournament in collaboration with the Azurea Basketball Club of Golfe-Juan Vallauris. Families, amateur athletes, port community members, and sports enthusiasts are all invited to join us for a day celebrating sport, teamwork, and the joy of friendly competition.

The morning will kick off at 9:30 AM with matches in the U11 and U13 youth categories. Twenty teams of talented young players will compete on the seaside courts, showcasing their skill, commitment, and sportsmanship. Parents, coaches, and spectators will cheer them on in a lively and supportive environment as they take to the court.

Following the morning games, at 1:00 PM, we’ll hold the first award ceremony alongside the president of the Azurea Basketball Club and Corinne Reynaud, CFO and President of D-Marin France. Every young participant will receive a trophy or medal to recognize their effort and sportsmanship.

In the afternoon, the tournament will continue with matches for boaters, crew members, local business owners, and port associations. Eight mixed teams will compete in a relaxed, festive atmosphere with substitutes on each team to keep the matches energetic and fun.

We’re also pleased to welcome the Mayor of Vallauris Golfe-Juan, Mr. Kelvin Luciano, who will join us to congratulate all the players during the afternoon award ceremony.

A special thank you to Shabi, who will once again manage the tournament with dedication and expertise, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone involved.
