D-Marin Lefkas will be the mega sponsor of the 10th Green Half-Marathon
In cooperation with the Municipality of Lefkas, D-Marin Lefkas will be the mega sponsor of the 10th Green Half Marathon, on May 21st, one of the most important athletic events in the Ionian Islands.
D-Marin Lefkas once again supports local community and special activities like Green Half-Marathon, where attendants from all around the world are expected to join and promote a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle.
The day will consist of the Races of 5km and 10km along with a 1000m Race for children 6-15 years old. The race is held under the auspices of SEGAS (Hellenic Athletics Federation) and the EOSLMA-Y (Hellenic Association of Mass Popular Sports and Ultra Running Clubs).
The route is measured and certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathon and Distance Races) and is going to take place in an environment of high ecological importance, including the Lagoon of Lefkada, protected by NATURA. Throughout the whole route there will be the presence of Police and of the Coast Guard for safety reasons.
