Join Us at D-Marin Gouvia for the 40th Brindisi–Corfu Regatta

D-Marin Gouvia is delighted to welcome sailors, visitors, and the local community to the 40th edition of the Brindisi–Corfu Regatta, one of the Mediterranean’s most celebrated sailing events.

Taking place on 8–9 June, the regatta will bring more than 100 yachts and hundreds of sailors from across Europe to Corfu, creating an exciting atmosphere both on the water and throughout the marina. To mark this special anniversary, D-Marin Gouvia will host a series of cultural performances, traditional celebrations, and entertainment for all ages.

Sunday, 8 June

The festivities will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Marina Moschat, followed by a vibrant parade and performances from some of Corfu’s most talented local groups. Visitors will enjoy music from the Sinarades Philharmonic Percussion Ensemble, the Corfu Music School Ensemble, and the Estudiantina of Corfu, as well as a traditional Corfiot Kantada serenade.

Guests will also have the opportunity to experience authentic local culture through the participation of the Cultural and Beautification Association of Gouvia, making the marina a lively meeting point for sailors, residents, and visitors alike.

Monday, 9 June

The celebrations will continue with the official Awards Ceremony, honouring the sailors and crews who have taken part in this historic race.

The evening will then invite visitors to discover Corfu’s traditions through an interactive presentation of local dances by the Dance Group of the Educational and Cultural Association of Afra. The event will conclude with a DJ set by the waterfront, creating the perfect setting to celebrate together and enjoy the regatta atmosphere.
