D-Marin concluded 2025 as one of the most transformative years in its history, delivering strategic expansion, major redevelopment milestones, and industry-leading progress in digital innovation and sustainability. The year also brought significant international recognition, with multiple awards across Europe and the Middle East highlighting D-Marin’s commitment to excellence in customer experience, sustainability and innovation. Guided by its brand philosophy, “Feels like yachting should feel,” the company continues to redefine what a premium marina experience means across the Mediterranean and beyond. This philosophy emphasises effortless service, intuitive journeys, and a welcoming sense of belonging, ensuring every customer feels at home.

Reflecting on the year, CEO Oliver Dörschuck commented: “At D-Marin, we believe marinas should be far more than places to dock. In 2025, we focused on making every visit effortless, beautiful, and human while driving sustainable growth and innovation. Our new brand philosophy continues to elevate service standards across the Mediterranean, and we are building a selection of marinas that is intuitive, connected, and ready for the future.”

A major highlight of the year was D-Marin’s entry into Spain with the acquisition of Marina Palma Cuarentena in Mallorca. This premium marina, offering 70 berths for superyachts up to 70 metres, strengthens the company’s connectivity between France, Italy, and Spain. It expands D-Marin’s portfolio to 26 marinas across nine countries, welcoming more than 50,000 customers annually and providing access to over 14,000 berths across the group. In line with its philosophy, the marina offers an inclusive, service-led environment designed for every type of boater, from first-time customers to experienced captains.

Last year also marked the first full year of successful integration for Port Camille Rayon, Porto Mirabello, Marina di Varazze, Marina degli Aregai, Marina di San Lorenzo and Marina di Valletta. This milestone ensured the optimisation of operations, digital systems and service standards across these strategic marinas, fully aligning them with D-Marin’s brand philosophy. Their integration has strengthened connectivity across the portfolio and reinforced D-Marin’s ability to deliver a consistently premium, seamless and intuitive experience throughout the Mediterranean.

Redevelopment projects progressed across three flagship locations, supported by significant capital investment. In Italy, Marina Livorno is being transformed through a €20 million redesign led by the architectural studio Archea Associati, introducing upgraded berths, integrated digital services, solar-enhanced structures, revitalised waterfront spaces, and improved public access. In France, Port Camille Rayon is undergoing a €52 million redevelopment featuring a new Experience Centre, expanded shipyard capacity, sustainable landscaping, and redesigned pedestrian areas that make movement more intuitive. In Greece, Marina Pylos is advancing a €10–15 million modernisation programme, integrating Smart Pedestals and Sensors, renewing customer facilities, elevating hospitality spaces, and reimagining the waterfront environment to feel more seamless and welcoming.

Digital innovation remained central to the company’s progress. The D-Marin app is now used by 93 per cent of annual berth holders, enabling customers to manage bookings, contracts, and real-time updates with ease. More than 2,500 Smart Pedestals and 10,000 Smart Sensors support operations across the group, providing reliable insights on mooring loads, vessel movement, energy and water use, weather patterns, and security. These systems enhance safety and operational efficiency while supporting D-Marin’s commitment to removing unnecessary friction, giving customers full visibility, predictable costs, and effortless control over their time and resources. This progress builds on more than €10 million invested in transformational IT solutions in recent years, enabling D-Marin to deliver the most advanced digital marina experience in the region.

D-Marin also strengthened its role as a global thought leader in 2025. As Platinum Partner of the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference in Venice, the company shared its vision for the future of marina experiences, highlighting emerging trends in sustainability, digitalisation, accreditation, customer journey design, and long-term operational strategy. Senior leaders contributed to keynote discussions shaping the next era of marina development.

Sustainability remained a defining pillar of D-Marin’s 2025 strategy. The company has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing it in the top two per cent of companies globally. D-Marin has achieved a 22 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 & 2) since 2021 and maintains a target to reduce these emissions by 42 per cent by 2030 in line with the Science Based Targets initiative. The company now has 5 MW of solar capacity installed across Turkey, Croatia, and Italy, with continued investment in renewable energy development. D-Marin managed more than 15 tonnes of waste last year, with 30 per cent recycled, contributing to a 13 per cent reduction in waste over three years. Marine-debris systems, including Jellyfishbot and DPOL®, removed more than five tonnes of floating waste, supporting cleaner waters across the Mediterranean. Biodiversity initiatives expanded with the installation of Biohuts at additional marinas in Croatia, Greece and Italy. The company also maintains 26 Blue Flag marinas, strengthened by partnerships with WWF, HELMEPA, CSR Hellas and the Ecocean Biohut programme.

Customer satisfaction reached new heights, with D-Marin achieving a Net Promoter Score of 62, the highest in its history. This reflects the combined impact of its hospitality focus, digital enhancements, updated infrastructure, and the continued rollout of its brand philosophy across all touchpoints. From arrival to departure, customers experience a thoughtful, human-centred approach where every detail is anticipated, ensuring interactions feel effortless and intuitive.

D-Marin also celebrated major recognition across its selection of premium marinas. In Croatia, D-Marin Borik in Zadar was voted the Best Marina in the Adriatic at the Nautičko jedro 2025 awards, an honour determined by sailors themselves. At the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards, D-Marin secured seven distinctions across its marinas in Türkiye and the UAE, recognising excellence in sustainability, innovation, customer experience, health and safety, and outstanding emerging marina operations.

For 2026, the company will continue expanding its footprint, strengthening its digital infrastructure, and investing in design-led, sustainable developments. With major projects underway in Livorno, Camille Rayon, Pylos and more, D-Marin remains committed to delivering experiences that truly feel like yachting should feel.
