D-Marin is proud to unveil its new ‘Experience Centre’ at Port Camille Rayon — a dynamic and immersive space that brings the future of the marina to life while celebrating the deep-rooted identity of Vallauris Golfe-Juan.
Far more than a digital showcase, the Experience Centre is a symbol of D-Marin’s commitment to evolving Camille Rayon in close collaboration with the local community. This multi-million-euro investment, designed by renowned Côte d’Azur architect Rudy Ricciotti, is about enhancing the marina’s role in the daily life of the town, connecting it more closely with local businesses, culture, and people — all while introducing state-of-the-art marina operations and environmentally conscious infrastructure.
The official opening took place in the presence of Kevin Luciano, Mayor of Vallauris Golfe-Juan, along with other local and regional leaders. Inside the new interactive space, visitors can explore the transformation through digital displays, videos, and an interactive touchscreen — offering a first-hand look at what the future holds.
“We are not just building a modern marina — we are creating a place that is woven into the social and economic fabric of Vallauris Golfe-Juan,” said Corinne Reynaud, President of D-Marin France. “This Experience Centre is a way to involve residents from the beginning and show that Camille Rayon’s transformation is rooted in the town’s culture, designed to foster local employment and support regional businesses.”
The project’s vision is guided by four core values: local integration, environmental care, digital innovation, and premium service. Over the next four years, the project will:
• Support the local economy by revitalising commercial spaces and creating new jobs
• Increase berthing capacity from 838 to 859, primarily for boats under 12 meters
• Introduce a dry dock for small boats and refurbish shipyard facilities
• Create extensive green areas and promote demineralization for a natural, open waterfront
• Build a 260-space underground car park to ease access
• Renovate the harbour master’s office, shipyard platform, and marina buildings in line with local architectural traditions
• Integrate solar panels and smart pedestals to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency
This transformation, due for completion by 2029, is not only aimed at yachtsmen and international visitors — it is an investment in local identity, celebrating the spirit of Camille Rayon’s storied past while preparing it for a vibrant, inclusive future.
“Camille Rayon will become a true flagship of the Côte d’Azur, thanks to a shared vision between public and private partners,” added Mayor Kevin Luciano. “This is not just a project for the sea — it’s a project for the town, for residents, and for future generations.”
The Experience Centre reflects D-Marin’s broader commitment to innovation and accessibility across its marina network. Through the Happy Berth Day programme, all customers will benefit from seven days of free mooring in any of D-Marin’s exceptional locations, from Camille Rayon to Livorno, San Lorenzo, Aregai, Varazze, and Mirabello.
With this launch, Camille Rayon takes its first bold step toward becoming a sustainable, smart, and community-centred marina — a place where heritage, modernity, and local life flow seamlessly together.
