D-Marin Didim, D-Marin Göcek and D-Marin Turgutreis win Blue Flag Award 2021
The Blue Flag International Jury has announced the winners of Blue Flag Award 2021. In the Marina category, three D-Marin marinas -Didim, Göcek and Turgutreis- have once again been recognised with a prestigious Blue Flag award. Also, in the Private Boat Owners category, “Soda” berthed at D-Marin Göcek, “Xanax” and “S/Y in Love” berthed at D-Marin Turgutreis have been awarded Individual Blue Flags.
Being one of the biggest marina networks in the Eastern Mediterranean basin with an excellent reputation for first class marina services, D-Marin has once again been recognised with a prestigious Blue Flag award. Three D-Marin marinas in Didim, Göcek and Turgutreis have been awarded to fly the iconic Blue Flag this year. Also, out of six individual yachts that have been awarded Individual Blue Flags this year, three are berthed at D-Marin marinas, “Soda” at D-Marin Göcek, “Xanax” and “S/Y in Love” at D-Marin Turgutreis.
Focusing on high quality customer service and environmental sensitivity, D-Marin uses infrastructures that are in favour of wildlife and ecological balance. At D-Marin Didim, Göcek and Turgutreis where the blue of the sea merges with the green landscape, guests are treated with utmost care by complying with environmental, health and hygiene measures.
Based on criteria that comprise the protection of the environment and public health, Blue Flag eco-label is operated under the auspices of Turkey Foundation for Environmental Education (TÜRÇEV). It is a world-renowned award trusted by millions around the globe and the programme is currently implemented in 49 countries across the world. This year, 519 beaches, 22 marinas, 6 private boat owners and 10 tourism boating operators from Turkey joined the programme.
