D-Marin launches Marin-Up Graduate Program to develop the next generation of marina leaders

D-Marin, the selection of premium marinas, has launched Marin-Up, a new International Graduate Program designed to attract, develop and accelerate the careers of future leaders in the marina industry.

Designed for ambitious graduates ready to accelerate their careers, the 18-month program provides unparalleled exposure to D-Marin’s network of 28 marinas in nine countries, combining practical experience, international mobility and structured development to build future leaders for the marina industry.

As the marina industry continues to evolve, attracting a new generation of talent is critical to shaping its future. Marin-Up has been developed to Build the new generation of marina managers and chiefs talent pipeline and give graduates exposure to every aspect of our business, from daily marina and harbor management to customer experience, sustainability as well as innovation and strategic growth projects

The program is structured around two development phases.

During the first 12 months, graduates will complete the Business Understanding phase, with placements in Customer Experience, Harbor Operations and an enabling function aligned with their background. Each placement will give participants direct exposure to marina operations, service delivery and cross-functional teamwork. Graduates will present their learnings and outcomes to senior teams at the end of each placement.

The final six months will focus on broadening participants’ strategic perspective through involvement in corporate projects and cross-functional initiatives. Graduates will work directly with senior leaders on projects linked to business growth, customer excellence, digital transformation, sustainability, innovation and operational efficiency, gaining exposure to the decisions that shape the future of the business.

Learning and development will run throughout the program, including onboarding, operational training, Health and Safety training, leadership development and participation in D-Marin’s Marina Manager Academy.

Successful completion of Marin-Up will lead to a permanent managerial role, supporting D-Marin’s commitment to developing talent from within.

Applications are open to recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of professional experience. Applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, hospitality, maritime studies, engineering, finance, marketing, operations, HR, sustainability or related fields, are encouraged to apply. Fluency in English as well as an additional European language is required, while, international exposure, internships, exchange programs and extracurricular leadership activities are considered an advantage.
