Marina Pylou S.A., the special purpose company established by D MARINAS HELLAS SINGLE MEMBER S.A. and TEMES S.A. (on a 70% - 30% basis), signed today with the Greek State and HRADF, a Concession Agreement for the exclusive right to use, operate, manage and develop the Marina for a forty (40) year term.

The Concession Agreement was signed by the Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni, on behalf of the Greek state; Dimitrios Politis, CEO of HRADF; Ioannis Koutsodontis, Regional Director of Greece for D-Marin, on behalf of Marina Pylou S.A. and D MARINAS HELLAS SINGLE MEMBER S.A.; and Eugenios Dendrinos, CEO of TEMES S.A., on behalf of TEMES S.A.

The Development Plan provides for the upgrading of the existing infrastructure into a modern marina that will offer high-quality yachting services. The new Marina of Pylos will feature 130 berth places for boats from 8m up to 30m long, along with functional and outdoor spaces that will offer a variety of experiences such as recreation, dining, hospitality, boat parking and repair services, as well as commercial services. As a state-of-the-art development, the Marina of Pylos aims to become a pole of attraction in the wider area.

This is a significant, long-term investment which will accelerate growth in the area, enrich the tourist offering of the Pylos/Messinia region and place it on the map of maritime tourism in the Mediterranean. The new marina is expected to attract high-end visitors from Greece and abroad and offer direct, multifaceted benefits to local businesses and the local economy in general. The wider area of the marina will be open to the public.

We are delighted in taking today the first step towards turning the Marina of Pylos into one of the most attractive marinas in the region”, stated Ioannis Koutsodontis, Board member of Marina Pylou S.A. and Regional Director of Greece for D-Marin, adding that “D-MARIN, as a leading owner and operator of high-end marinas in the Mediterranean and Gulf regions, managing among others the marinas of Zea, Lefkada and Gouvia in Greece, has unique expertise in developing marinas that stand out for their high-quality facilities and services. Together with TEMES, a strategic investor in Messinia, we aim to establish the Marina of Pylos as a top choice among yacht owners and travelers and create significant added value not only for Pylos but for the whole region and the local communities”.
