New Italian marina, Punta Faro joins the expanding D-Marin network

July, 7

We are pleased to announce the exciting news that we have signed an agreement to acquire Punta Faro Marina in Italy to join the D-Marin network.

Punta Faro Marina is based in Lignano Sabbiadoro, near Venice, Italy, where the waters of the Marano Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea meet. With 1,200 berths, the marina is one of the largest marinas in the Northern Adriatic and is home to yachts of up to 40 metres.

Not only is this new marina set in a truly spectacular location with beautiful views, but it also offers some exceptional facilities including an outdoor pool, perfect for lazy days in the sun and to sit by in the evening with cocktails, a gym, tennis court and football field.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Punta Faro this summer where you can expect the very best D-Marin experience in another stunning location, opening up even more berthing and cruising opportunities for you.

Commenting on the acquisition, our CEO, Oliver Dörschuck said: “We are delighted to have signed an agreement with such an impressive marina. Punta Faro is a welcome extension of our network, providing additional sailing destinations for both our new and existing clients, given our marinas in nearby Croatia. The addition of Punta Faro is our first step in growing our presence in Italy.”

Punta Faro expands the D-Marin network to a collection of 16 premium marinas in six countries across the Mediterranean and Gulf regions. D-Marin offers comprehensive marina management, marina development and has a single focus of enriching the yachting experience of customers.
